Privacy, in plain language.

1. What we collect

When you save a reading, Lucida stores the name, birthdate, and email address, if supplied, that you provide after you give consent. Birth time and city are optional for the free snapshot, but are needed for products that include an Ascendant and houses. When a city is resolved, we may also store its coordinates, time zone, and calculated UTC birth time.

2. Orders and reports

For an order, we keep the selected product and add-ons, price and currency, payment-provider identifiers, payment and fulfilment status, delivery status, and timestamps. The personalized PDF is kept in private file storage so the customer can retrieve it through their private order link. We also retain a snapshot of the birth details used for each purchase, report availability times, and transactional email attempts and outcomes.

3. What we do not collect

Card numbers and security codes never pass through Lucida. Payment details are entered on the payment provider’s secure checkout. Lucida receives only the result of the transaction and the identifiers needed to reconcile your order.

4. How your details are used

• Calculate the astronomical placements used in your reading.
• Create, store, deliver, and support your private report.
• Prevent duplicate payments, fraud, and delivery errors.
• Send transactional messages about the order you requested.

Marketing emails are optional and require your separate opt-in. The checkbox is not selected by default and is not required to buy a reading. You can unsubscribe from marketing while continuing to receive messages about your purchases. We keep a suppression record to respect your choice.

Customer history and source information

We use your email address to organize your purchase and report history for customer support and internal business analysis. We may retain limited campaign labels from the link you followed, such as its source and campaign name. These labels are not a copy of your browsing history.

A private browser cookie helps us recognize details you saved in that browser and protect checkout access. An email address alone does not grant access to someone’s orders. Customer exports are restricted to authorized business use.

Launch notifications and demand measurement

During our launch preparation, selecting a report’s purchase button saves your interest, selected report, optional additions, displayed price, and time of the request. It does not create a payment or charge your card. Your saved birth details remain linked to the same reading profile, including when you have not provided an email address.

If you select Notify Me, we save your email with that request and your permission to contact you about LUCIDA and your report’s availability. This signup does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. You can withdraw the request by contacting support@lucidaastro.com.

We use first-party visitor and session cookies to measure visits and the steps from starting a reading to expressing purchase interest. A visitor cookie lasts up to 90 days; the session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. We retain limited source and campaign labels, the landing page, and a sanitized referrer. We do not use browser fingerprinting or store raw IP addresses in customer profiles or analytics events. Short-lived hashed identifiers may be used to limit abusive requests.

These measurements and launch requests are accessible only to authorized administrators. We keep them only while needed to assess demand, prepare launch notifications, and support your request. You may request access, correction, or deletion at the support address above.

5. Service providers

Lucida may use service providers for payment processing, transactional email, private file storage, hosting, and city geocoding. Each receives only the data needed for its role. We do not sell your birth details or email address.

For paid readings, calculated chart placements, forecast signals and any purchased numerology values are sent through OpenRouter to an AI text provider to prepare the interpretation. We do not include your name, email, birth city, payment identifiers or private access links in that request. Calculated chart data can still be personal information. We retain the calculation and interpretation privately to reproduce and support your purchased report.

6. Retention and your choices

Order records are retained only as needed for delivery, support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations. Free-reading records are kept only while needed to provide and support the requested result. You may ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@lucidaastro.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained where law requires it.

7. Private links and security

Report links contain a private access token. Do not post or forward them unless you intend to share the report. If a link is exposed, contact support@lucidaastro.com from the order email address so the request can be verified.

8. Adults only

Lucida is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted data, contact support@lucidaastro.com so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

9. Changes and contact
